Welcome to BFLI
Beacon Family Living Inc. (BFLI) was named during a conversation between its founder, Joe, and one of his lifelong best friends, Denis. As they dreamed together about creating an organization that would care for people with disabilities like a true family, Joe had the vision and values but not yet a name. Denis then said, “I have the name—it should be called Beacon Family Living, a beacon for all to behold.” And a nod to the infamous Owls Head lighthouse just a mile down the road from where BFLI was started.
Our mission
is to promote lifelong, health, wellness, community involvement, and social well-being for individuals with disabilities in the communities we serve.
